Peace Like a River

Peace Like a River
Do you have peace? With so much to worry about and so many struggles each day, how can we ever have peace?
A river moves and changes all the time. It is unpredictable. Yet it can look calm and smooth.
Our peace comes not from lack of problems, but from the knowledge that with the Lord's help, we will get through and handle anything.
I pray for you to have Peace like a River.

I've got peace like a river
I've got peace like a river
I've got peace like a river in my soul
I've got peace like a river
I've got peace like a river
I've got peace like a river in my soul
I've got love like an ocean
I've got love like an ocean
I've got love like an ocean in my soul
I've got love like an ocean
I've got love like an ocean
I've got love like an ocean in my soul
I've got joy like a fountain
I've got joy like a fountain
I've got joy like a fountain in my soul
I've got joy like a fountain
I've got joy like a fountain
I've got joy like a fountain in my soul
I've got peace, love and joy like a river
I've got peace, love and joy like a river
I've got peace, love and joy like a river in my soul
I've got peace, love and joy like a river
I've got peace, love and joy like a river in my soul

Get dressed

I once attended a weekend camp with a large group of Christian women. We had such a great time. It was so good to have fun and worship with other women.
The following spring I took my son to baseball practice and saw there one of the women that I had met at camp. I was so excited to realize that I would have someone to spend time with while we waited out the practice time.
My excitement quickly turned to disappointment though when I saw that she would rather hang out with her "other" friends. I saw behavior from her and her friends that didn't really reflect Christ.
Galatians 3:27 tells us that all of us that are baptized into Christ have "clothed ourselves" with Christ.
We have put Him on and should be "wearing" Him wherever we go.
I think sometimes people only put Him on when they put on their Sunday clothes and that is not the way it should be.
Are you dressed today? Are you wearing Christ?
