Pardon Me

The past few days have been terrible for me. I have an ear infection. I have been seen by Doctors at two Urgent Care Facilities. 

My infection causes excruciating pain and hearing loss in my right ear. 

The remedy seems to be to have my eardrum pierced to equalize pressure and release the infection.

I am dreading the procedure. Even though I want to be free from the pain and I want my hearing restored.

It is awful to see people looking at you and see their mouths moving and not be able to hear them. Not to mention how often the people speaking lose patience with you because they have to repeat everything several times and then sometimes I just have to try to guess what they are saying.

Many times in scripture the writer will say, "He who has ears to hear..." Matt. 11:15, Mark 4:9, Mark 4:23 and Rev. 2:7 in other words, "Listen up, this is important."

When you don't hear what is being said, you may miss something very important. You CANNOT guess at what the Bible is saying. These are God's words. He wants you to hear them correctly and pay attention to them.

If your life is in pain maybe it's because you are not hearing. God is speaking. Are you hearing?

Let His Word pierce you. He has solutions that will ease your pressure and release the infection from your sinful life.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.' (Revelation 2:7 NASB)
