"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8, 9 NASB)
Do you seek the Lord's guidance in your day to day living? Do you seek Him in your decisions?
It is easy to see things as you would like them to be. And I sometimes find myself trying to "convince" God that my thoughts and plans are within His will.
Occasionally I get disappointed when events don't go the way that I expected. But God is always right. He knows the big picture. He knows the plans that He has for me.
I am very glad that He loves me and wants the best for me. I trust Him. I believe in Him.
Oh, Lord, Help me to WAIT on You.
