Sing

Have you ever heard a child singing while they played? Have you ever heard a woman singing as she went about her housework?
This morning while reading my Bible I asked myself, why do people sing?
Some sing when they are happy, some people sing when they are sad. Old time railroad workers sang to keep rhythm as they pounded railroad spikes. Ancient people sang stories and legends.
Some people don't like to be heard singing.
But everyone sings at some point.
Why do you sing? When do you sing? What do you sing?
I love to her people sing, especially when they sing their feelings. Are you happy and thankful this morning?

Sing for joy in the Lord, O you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright. Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy. (Psalms 33:1-3 NASB)
