It's Monday. Monday, the first day of our workweek.
After the weekend we should be rested and refreshed and rearing to go. So why then do I see so many dread Monday mornings?
And I must confess, I am not always ready to jump both feet back into work.
Sometimes It feels kind of like cold water, I want to dip my toes in and then inch my way in until I warm up to the thoughts gradually.
But in any case, here we are.....Monday. And it's dark and rainy where I am this morning.
For those of you that are a little slow this morning, if you are not ripping and tearing to get out the door I would like to remind you, Psalm 118:24, This is the day that The Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
God gave us this brand new beautiful gift. Another clean slate. Another chance to bring Him honor and glory. A new day to make things better.
How will you use this day?
What words can you say today to encourage someone?
What act can you do to show kindness to someone?
What lessons will you read in your Bible today that will equip you?
What will you praise and thank God for?

We will rejoice
We will rejoice
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
