This World is not my Home

This World is not my home!

I hate going to the dentist. I know that there is always going to be some pain and discomfort involved.

But I tell myself that I can endure it for a little while because I know that it is ultimately going to benefit me.

Pack your bags and then wait for your ride. We are leaving this world. 

Jesus has gone ahead to prepare a place for us. We don't have to stay here. This world, this life is temporary.

We need to remember that as we face our daily struggles and trials that they will pass. As the Apostle Paul said, they are "temporary light afflictions." 

We can have joy and peace in this world if we keep remembering that this is all temporary. We are on our way to that wonderful, unimaginable place that is being prepared by our Savior for us.
